Tengeru Tomato is a determinate open-pollinated tomato variety developed by the World Vegetable Center, widely grown across Central and East Africa. It produces round, uniform red fruits with firm flesh suited to fresh market and processing. Shows good tolerance to Fusarium wilt. Farmers can save seed from season to season, making it ideal for smallholder production systems.
